Local Information

Nestled among the beautiful Ten Thousand Islands just 30 minutes East of Naples Florida and just 89 miles west of Miami is an Island Paradise called Marco Island.. The Mackle Brothers, or the DeltonaCorporation envisioned this pristine island as an opportunity to develop this into a beautiful community in early 1965 .Today in an area of approx 6 miles by 8 miles there is that thriving community with Residential homes, condos, hotels, commercial businesses, time shares and many rental opportunities.Marco Islands Real Estate market is unique and different from most other Southwest Florida Real Estate Markets. The residents who reside on this lovely island pride themselves in offering a friendly, self contained community with property values that start for inland residential homes in the $800,000.’s to well over $12,000,000. The Condo market has plenty of opportunities for  a second home or full time resident, prices as low as the mid $450,000's for small non waterfront buildings to over several million dollars for Waterfront 3 and 4 bedroom units on the beach. If condo living is what you are looking for there is a great supply in every price range on Marco Island. The second home buyer wants a place they can come to with little worry about the upkeep they can come and go by just locking their doors and feel that their property is being taken care of during their time away. Marco Island is a well rounded community with the average age according to the 2009 Census being between 47 and 65 years of age, Therefore this area is attracting a great deal of Baby Boomers, as well as the second home retirees to the area. We have many young families with children that attend Tommy Barfield elementary school and our Charter  Middle school as well as a New Baptist high school that are some of the best in the State. Some high school  students may attend high school in the nearby Naples area.
